What does it cost to raise on Invown?
Invown charges issuers three kinds of fees: a flat monthly plan fee while your raise is live, a success fee (commission) on the amount you actually raise, and one-time setup fees. Invown takes no equity in your raise, and investors pay no transaction fees when they invest through Invown.
There are three plans:
- Starter — $0 per month with a 6% success fee, plus one-time fees of $1,499 onboarding, $500 deal review, and $1,500 escrow setup. Legal documentation is priced on application.
- Professional — $749 per month with a 4% success fee, plus $1,499 onboarding and $1,200 escrow setup. Legal documentation and deal review are included.
- Syndicator — $1,499 per month ($1,400 per month billed annually) with a 2% success fee, plus $1,499 onboarding and $1,000 escrow setup.
A worked example: a $1,000,000 raise that stays open four months on the Syndicator plan costs $28,495 all-in — the monthly fees, the 2% success fee, and the one-time fees combined. That works out to 2.85% of the amount raised.
Payment processing is a pass-through on every plan. One cost to budget for separately: if you do not already have an investor base, you will likely spend on advertising and marketing your raise.
