Cookies and Tracking
Cookie & Tracking Policy
Effective date: May 26, 2026
Invown uses cookies and marketing analytics to run the platform and, when issuers enable it, to help issuers measure their advertising. This policy explains cookie categories, consent choices, issuer marketing pixels, California opt-out, and Global Privacy Control.
Plain-English Overview
This summary is here to help readers navigate. The full legal text below controls.
- Required cookies stay active because the platform needs them for security, sign-in, transaction state, and legally required workflows.
- Analytics and marketing cookies are optional.
- First visits with no consent are treated as rejected until the user chooses.
- Reject, opt out, or GPC means full marketing-event suppression, not a stripped-down event.
Cookie SettingsOpen
Required cookies are always active. They keep the site working, maintain security, support sign-in, preserve transaction state, and help complete legally required investment workflows. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional.
The first time you visit without a consent choice, Invown treats that visit as rejected until you choose. No issuer marketing pixels or Invown analytics should fire before a choice is made.
Consent ChoicesOpen
- Accept All: enables analytics and marketing where otherwise allowed.
- Reject All: suppresses issuer pixels and Invown analytics.
- Manage: allows category-level choices. Required cookies remain active. Marketing and analytics choices can be changed.
Rejecting marketing cookies, using an opt-out, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal means full event suppression. Invown does not send a stripped-down marketing event, listing-only event, or event without direct identifiers. The event is withheld entirely from marketing providers.
Issuer Marketing PixelsOpen
Issuers may configure structured marketing-provider integrations for listing pages, subject to Invown approval, consent, privacy choices, offering rules, issuer privacy notice requirements, and vendor requirements. Supported providers may include Meta, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, and Reddit. Invown does not permit issuers to paste arbitrary raw JavaScript into listing pages.
When issuer pixels are allowed to fire, providers may receive limited event-level or pseudonymous information, such as a listing view, checkout start, investment-recorded event, campaign identifier, click identifier, listing ID, regulation track, event ID, and, only if consent and settings allow, a hashed email. Invown does not share raw email, name, phone, SSN or tax ID, address, bank account numbers, KYC documents, accreditation documents, or KYC/accreditation status with marketing providers.
Global Privacy ControlOpen
Global Privacy Control, or GPC, is honored when detected. GPC overrides other choices and suppresses marketing sharing. If GPC is detected, issuer marketing pixels and marketing events are suppressed even if another cookie choice would otherwise allow them.
Your Privacy ChoicesOpen
You may opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising using Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Opt-out and GPC suppression are applied globally where operationally feasible.
Changing Your ChoicesOpen
You may revisit Cookie Settings through links in Invown footers or privacy surfaces. Signed-in users may also have account-level privacy settings where available. Required cookies cannot be disabled because the platform cannot operate securely without them.
