If the offering reaches its goal prior to its deadline the owner (issuer) may choose to move the deadline forward to an earlier date. This is considered a material change to the terms of the agreement which then must be re-approved by each investor within 5 business days.
Once the investors are notified they have five business days to accept the new terms and recommit their investment. If the investor does not recommit their investment then the entire commitment amount will be returned to the investor.
NOTE TO OWNERS: If enough investors do not recommit to the earlier deadline there is a risk that the funding amount may not be reached by the new deadline and cause the offering to expire.
